As founder and coordinator, I am very proud to present the fourth production of an event that is making history as one 'not to miss' among serious acoustic guitar musicians and enthusiasts ..... MonroeStock - IV.

Affectionately nicknamed after the legendary 'TaylorStock', a one-time personal gathering of Taylor owners hosted by Taylor Guitars in August, 2002, we are honored to officially adopt the name 'MonroeStock'.

This year, for the first time, I am honored that four of the world's foremost acoustic guitar makers have accepted our invitation to join us by sending a company representative. This, alone, speaks volumes for MonroeStock's standing in the acoustic guitar community.

It is an event 'by acoustic guitar people, for acoustic guitar people' .... it is about the instrument, the music, the yearning, the learning, the picking, grinning and sharing, celebrating the art and the craft of both the guitar and the guitarist.

MonroeStock would simply not be possible without the very real & genuine people that make up the Acoustic Guitar Forum, the performers, guest artists and clinicians and the financial, physical, moral & spiritual support provided by Holloway's Music in Monroe since day one.

I offer my sincere thanks to all who have made MonroeStock a reality.
